And let me tell you—this season, there’s a clear trend: soft, slouchy bags are taking over. The materials feel more relaxed, casual, and flexible, with just the right amount of structure. Plus, they’re practical—big enough to hold your daily essentials without sacrificing style.
I stopped by a few stores recently to try on some of the latest releases from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Chloé, and here’s what I found:

Chanel
Let’s start with what everyone’s curious about—Chanel.
The star of the season? The Chanel 25.
Yes, that’s the actual name: Chanel 25, as a nod to the year 2025.
It first appeared in Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 show last October, and it instantly caught people’s attention. It’s roomy, packed with pockets, and has a chill, effortless vibe.
Then came the campaigns—Dua Lipa became the face of the bag, and boom—it was everywhere.
Jennie from BLACKPINK also just shot a campaign with it.
The Chanel 25 features the brand’s signature diamond quilting and the iconic leather-threaded chain strap. There are big side pockets, and the overall look is stylish but super functional.
I can honestly see this working for daily commutes, work trips, or even casual weekends. It comes in three sizes—small, medium, and large—and a bunch of colors.
Now here’s the catch: I went to three stores in Manhattan and none of them had it in stock. Go figure!
But a store associate did recommend another new piece—the Chanel Hobo Bag.
Yes, that’s the actual name—just “Hobo Bag.” You’ll recognize it the second you see it: a true “softie”.
It’s been flying off the shelves, too. I waited a while before they finally brought out a black one from the back. The leather is beautiful—classic lambskin, but with a subtle coating that adds a soft sheen. It’s supple yet structured, and the glow gives it a luxurious finish.
